Terms & Conditions

Tuition & Billing:

We require a current credit card to be stored on file for automatic payment. All weekly recurring lessons and enrollments (performance programs, academy memberships, etc) require monthly payment and will be automatically billed to the card on file on the 1st of each month. Tuition is annualized based on the calendar year and NOT billed weekly. You may have 3, 4 or 5 lessons in a given month, however the tuition cost is the same each month. Tuition typically increases in September but is subject to change at any time. Billing is annualized and based on 48 lessons in the calendar year.

Prorating:

Your first month of lessons will be prorated based on the start date. If you start during the first week of a given month you will be charged in full for that month. Your Academy benefits begin upon signup. Otherwise, you’ll be charged the base single lesson rate times the number of lessons remaining in that month.

Late Fees:

A late fee of $25 will be charged for any monthly tuition payments received after the 8th of the month. A student may not attend lessons for that month until their tuition is paid. If monthly tuition fees (including any applicable late fees) are not received by the 15th of the month, the student’s time slot will be released, and the payee will be charged for any missed lessons and fees.

Registration / Annual Fee:

A $50 non-refundable registration and materials fee will be assessed for the creation of each new Stages Academy contract and curriculum binder. A $35 fee is charged to replace lost curriculum binders. Siblings get a $10 discount. Each year, an annual fee of $30 will be charged on the 1st of the anniversary month of the student. Terminating and restarting a subscription will reset the anniversary, and require a $30 fee upon returning.

Scheduling:

All scheduling must be made through either the Stages Music Arts front desk staff or Stages Music Arts’ online portal. Scheduling adjustments made through your instructor will not be honored. All scheduling requests made via email require staff confirmation for any change to take effect.

Make-Up Days & Holiday Closures:

Stages Music Arts has two types of closures: Holiday and Make-up Days. Our facility is closed during a holiday closure. Monthly tuition is not prorated for holidays or make-up days, as they are built into the annualized monthly cost. Tuition is based on 48 lessons per calendar year for each day of the week.

Make-up Days have limited lesson availability: 4:00-8:00pm Mon-Fri and 10:00am-2:00pm on Saturday. There are no regularly scheduled lessons on Make-up Days. Lessons on Make-Up Days are booked on a first-come-first-serve basis.
