” He sounds like a cross between Bob Marley and Bob Dylan.” – New York Times
Stages Music Arts is thrilled to welcome Omari Banks back to Stages August 4th for TWO shows in our intimate, 60-seat performance hall. Son of the legendary Bankie Banx, Omari was born and raised on the beautiful island of Anguilla and found his music calling at a young age, though he veered through a career as a professional Cricket player, where he excelled on the world stage.
Omari never fails to bring the house down and we are so excited to welcome him back to Baltimore! In fact, to meet demand, there are TWO show times to choose from!
Show 1: 4:00 pm (doors 3:30)
Show 2: 6:30 pm (doors 6:00)
Omari leveraged his lifetime of experiences and life lessons gained traveling the globe back into his passion for songwriting and began perfecting his musicianship, leading him to create the debut album “Move On” – listed as #4 on the Top Ten Reggae Albums of 2015.
