Kids 4-10 — join Brennan McShane to play training games in a fun, engaging environment. Class is designed to develop and strengthen aural skills of young musicians aiming to join bands, bring these concepts to their own practice and lessons, or just enjoy a fun challenge with friends.

Concepts will include pitch relationships, chord qualities, tempo relationships, and solfege. Activities would include hearing 2 notes or musical excerpts and picking the higher one, analyzing tempos (which version of ‘Baby Shark’ is faster/higher pitched/ etc), identifying chords (‘majorly happy, minorly sad, other’) and beginning solfège (here’s’ do’- guess which solfège syllable the mystery note is).
