Our band program moves your child beyond the traditional music lesson into a learning environment that fosters teamwork and builds friendships. Just like sports and other activities, practicing alone only takes you so far. Learning and playing music together is FUN and teaches vital skills such as listening, observing, cooperating and collaborating. Our performance programs will take your child’s music education to the next level and get students out of the practice room and onto the stage!

We will do our best to provide everyone with their first or second choice. Time slots are ultimately determined by availability and interest.
Take your first steps playing in a live band! Students attend fun-filled weekly 90-minute rehearsals, learn their favorite songs and how to collaborate with fellow musicians. For beginner students – no prior band experience necessary!
Has your teen dreamed of playing on stage underneath the lights with other musicians, rocking out to their favorite songs? Our teen performance program gives kids creative control and creates a space where teens can express themselves, build friendships and build confidence learning and play together.
It’s never too late to learn to rock! Adult musicians of all skill levels enjoy a weekly 90-minute rehearsal where you will advance your musicianship and experience the joy of collaborating with others and performing live! No prior band experience necessary.
All-Access is Stages’ audition-based all-star band program for students 18 and under. All-Access students enjoy premiere opportunities to perform professional gigs, study with renowned mentors, record with industry professionals and more! Selected musicians have a strong desire to reach their full potential and ability to commit to a full year of rehearsals and availability for gigs. All-Access auditions take place in the Summer of each year.
Selection for the audition-based All-Access rock band is the highest level of achievement for Stages Music Arts students ages 12-18.
We leverage our relationships with the area’s best musicians, concert venues and promoters to provide All-Access members with exclusive learning, performing, and recording opportunities.
All-Access bands have performed alongside such prominent local musicians as Cris Jacobs and Carl Filipiak and at venues like the Hard Rock Cafe, WTMD, UNION Collective, Camden Yards, The Recher, Baltimore Museum of Industry, Belvedere Square and Power Plant Live!
