What is All-Access?

All-Access is Stages Music Arts’ audition-based all-star program for students 12-18 years old. Acceptance into the band is an honor only achieved by a limited number of students.

Stages Music Arts leverages its relationships with local concert venues, promoters, and the area’s best musicians to provide All-Access with exclusive learning, performing, and recording opportunities.

All-Access has performed at venues like Hard Rock Cafe, WTMD, UNION Collective, Camden Yards, Prigel Family Creamery, and Belvedere Square.

Audition Information

Auditions for 2021 will be held virtually (via Zoom) on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Students will receive their audition time, audition packet, and zoom link upon registration.

The full audition and interview process takes about 15 minutes. Once it’s time for you to begin, we will guide you through the entire experience, which includes the following:

  1. Audition Packet: A packet of materials will be emailed to each student. Students should prepare all selections.
  2. Prepared Piece: Students will prepare a song of their choice that best demonstrates their style and skill. Selections are limited to 1–2 minutes in length and must be performed unaccompanied. Students may also demonstrate proficiency on a secondary instrument with an additional selection or singing and playing together.
  3. Interview: Students will be asked a series of questions regarding their commitment level, dedication, character, instrument proficiency, and music theory.
